Our governance in Luxembourg

In addition to our history and expertise, our added value also comes from our group, Crédit Agricole, and our organisational structure, which is both cross-disciplinary and boasts solid local roots.

We are a member of Crédit Agricole group, one of the top banking groups in Europe, a leader in retail banking and number one in asset management and banking and insurance services. In addition to its know-how and networks, our group is also a clear asset for our clients thanks to its financial resources, ranked among the top 10 institutions in the world for the robustness of its capital.

Its Wealth Management business is centred on CA Indosuez Wealth (Group), which comprises all of Crédit Agricole group's specialist teams worldwide.

Our direct shareholder is Crédit Agricole CIB, the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of Crédit Agricole group, which is also a partner of our business.

For our clients and our teams alike, our structure is synonymous with strength and preferred access to a broad source of expertise.

In the Grand Duchy, Indosuez Wealth Management is embodied first and foremost by its parent company, CA Indosuez Wealth (Europe), which forms part of a coordinated, international, federal organisation. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CA Indosuez Wealth (Group), whose various teams cooperate within a vast global network operated from a cross-business standpoint. All of which serves to ensure that we take an open approach to the world and take full advantage of the synergies of our areas of expertise around the world to benefit our clients.

The governance of CA Indosuez Wealth (Europe) is structured around a Board of Directors, chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of Indosuez Wealth (Group), and a Senior Management team holding extensive powers.

This team is run by Olivier Chatain, Chief Executive Officer, with the support of a close-knit Management Committee. In accordance with our federal organisation, he is also a member of the CA Indosuez Wealth (Group) Management Committee and head of coordination for Europe outside France.

CA Indosuez Wealth (Europe) is responsible for developing business in Europe (excluding France) and, as such, has built a network of branches outside the Grand Duchy for its clients. The services they provide complement those of the group's historic European offices, in France, Monaco and Switzerland. These local agencies have teams in:

  • Belgium, with 3 offices in Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent, forming CA Indosuez Wealth (Europe), Belgium Branch, offering their services to residents of Belgium;
  • Spain, with six offices based in Madrid, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Valencia and Sevilla comprising CA Indosuez Wealth (Europe), Sucursal en España, offering their services to investors in Spain;

Our group also has a CSSF-approved asset management company in Luxembourg: CA Indosuez Wealth (Asset Management), in charge of a comprehensive range of Luxembourg-law funds open for investment to clients of various offices around the world. Though only created in 2014, it is already responsible for managing over €7 billion in AuM (31/12/2017).

As the company works for our entire group and also in collaboration with the Group’s other Management Companies, it naturally falls under the CA Indosuez Wealth (Group) remit, of which it is a wholly-owned subsidiary. Chaired by Frédéric Lamotte, who is also Chief Investment Officer on a global scale, the subsidiary is headed by Sébastien Alusse. It also has its own subsidiary specialising in Private Equity fund management, namely CA Indosuez Wealth (Private Equity), also based in Luxembourg.
