Corporate social responsibility

Responsibility is one of Indosuez Wealth Management's core values. It is implemented in the services we provide to our clients
and our employees.
In Luxembourg, our approach to advancing CSR
and the support we offer for charitable and cultural initiatives
keep us forging ahead.

A sense of responsibility is one of the values cherished by Indosuez Wealth Management. In our business this translates into our determination to be a trusted partner for our clients. As such, we take care to protect their interests and comply with all applicable regulations.

Furthermore, in order to be a positive influence on each of our stakeholders, we are committed to upholding Corporate Social Responsibility through a forward-looking approach, along with our group, one of the highest-rated CSR-driven companies in the world. Under the name “FreD”, this strategy is centred on Respect for our clients, employees and the environment. It is implemented through a variety of multi-annual projects, some of which are cross-disciplinary, such as the enhancement of measures to prevent market abuse, and some local, notably focusing on environmental initiatives aimed at improving our carbon footprint (automatic computer shut-down, sleep-servers, reducing the CO2 emissions of company cars, providing employees with subscriptions for cycling solutions, etc.).

In conjunction with our group, Indosuez Wealth Management is a stakeholder of the Crédit Agricole Grameen Foundation in the Grand Duchy. This foundation, operating under Luxembourg law, works to combat poverty and financial exclusion in developing countries. Its primary activity is providing financial and technical support to microfinance institutions and social business endeavours. Having received €50 million from Crédit Agricole group to establish its activities, the Foundation has partnered with Professor Muhammad Yunis, the winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize who invented both the concept of microcredit and social business. The Grand Duchess of Luxembourg is also a member of the Foundation's Board of Directors.

Wherever it establishes its activity, Indosuez Wealth Management gets involved alongside local activists to advance the cultural and charitable causes it holds dear.
In Luxembourg, we notably offer our support to cultural associations working to expand exposure to French culture around the world.

Our Luxembourg team has also chosen to support charitable associations aiding the vulnerable members of society, such as the Luxembourg Red Cross and the association Pour un Sourire d'Enfant –PSE Luxembourg–, whose mission is to help struggling children and their families all over the world.

Furthermore, we have long worked alongside Luxembourg foundation EME, Ecouter pour Mieux s'Entendre which offers access to musical events to those generally excluded from cultural activities.
This foundation works closely with the Luxembourg Philharmonic.

In all these projects, the men and women of Indosuez Wealth Management are involved as early as possible in volunteer and sponsorship initiatives, as is the case with Cambodia-based NGO “Pour un sourire d’enfant”.
